  9. If you are looking for single-frame (not animated), borderless images,
  10. get MWB_DOpus7.lha from Aminet:pix/mwb. The images are perfect for things
  11. such as start menus, certain ToolManager (and other programs, especially
  12. Opus5.11) docks, etc.

  15. Directory Opus 5.5 Users Note:
  16. ------------------------------
  17. This archive (MWB_DOpus8c.lha) is *exactly* the same as the one you
  18. should already have on your Opus5.5 Extras disk. Do not waste your
  19. time downloading this as there is nothing new for you. We are just
  20. releasing this to Aminet as it will also be useful to people who do not
  21. own Opus 5.5 (although such people really are lesser humans and don't
  22. deserve one icon, let alone a set -- I must be in a good mood or
  23. something).

  26. MWB_DOpus 8:
  27. ------------
  28. A new feature of Directory Opus 5.5 is that it can use 2-frame icons
  29. and animbrushes in toolbars & button-banks so that the icons animate
  30. when you click on them. Another new feature is the ability to turn off
  31. the automatic borders around icons (which were ugly in most cases).
  32.  
  33. Version 8 of MWB_DOpus is designed for these new features and all the
  34. icons have their own border imagery and a secondary image.
  35.  
  36. For Opus 5.5 users, this new collection is a must-have (and you probably
  37. won't have much use for the old MWB_DOpus 7, unless you use it for
  38. other programs as well).

  40. Other people may also find these icons very useful. For example, you can
  41. create nice looking, compact ToolManager docks, etc.
  42.  
  43. A template of the icons is included (so you can easily see which filename
  44. matches which picture)
  45.  
  46. All icons are included in icon (.info) and animbrush formats.
  47.  
  48. Also included are some nice fonts, disk icons, window textures, and
  49. anything else we thought would be useful.
  50.  
  51. There is also an AmigaGuide which attempts to help with some common
  52. problems people have had when trying to use the icons with DOpus5.
  53.  
  54. An installer script is provided, but is of no use to those without
  55. DOpus5.5. Those with DOpus5.5 will already have this archive and it
  56. is installed by the main installation script, but future versions
  57. will have an "update" mode.

  60. Finally... Please note Trevor's new address above, the one in the
  61. archive is out-of-date.  A small update of MWB_DOpus8 may appear
  62. some time in the future as we do have a few more icons to add, but
  63. it hardly seems worth the effort at the moment. As always, if you
  64. have any requests for new icons or if you wish to use the icons in
  65. one of your projects, drop us a line and we'll do our best to help.
